Meet Rotimi John Oluwole – Lead Incident Coordinator, Budapest

Rotimi John Oluwole is our Lead Incident Coordinator in Budapest, having joined us as a Service Desk agent in 2016; his talent was obvious and he was promoted quickly.

Very popular, and very qualified, John shows his work ethic and commitment by continuing to learn and gain qualifications, even though he had two Bachelor’s degrees when he joined NSC – one in Urban and Regional Planning from Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria, and one in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Debrecen – John is currently studying for a project management certification.

"I joined NSC in Budapest in 2016 as a senior Service Desk Agent. Nine months later I was promoted to Lead Incident Coordinator, responsible for managing and driving telecommunications, network and IT infrastructure escalated incidents, monitoring the effectiveness of the incident management process, and making recommendations for improvement.

In the past, I have worked in the IT environment as a Network and Telecommunication Infrastructure Engineer. My technical and sales skills have taught me the art of listening and matching customer needs to appropriate solutions.

Since joining NSC I have had the opportunity to study Informatics at the University of Debrecen with a CCNA certification to my credit. Currently, I am working on the PRINCE2 project management certification, which will expand my horizons further.

I have been growing professionally, and am fortunate to be surrounded by talented team members who have taught me a lot in terms of taking responsibility and gaining more knowledge in different fields.

Outside of work I appreciate traveling, enjoy creating software with JavaScript, and spending time with family and friends."
