
New Service Portal Release includes Asset Management and Order tracking

The portal is provided as a free of charge value added service to all customers. The portal will be configured for every customer over the coming months. The new release includes the following features:
- Asset Management – view all assets under support. This includes asset details, location, support status and period. A flexible search tool enables complex queries to be built, and the results to be simply exported.
- Quote and Order Management – Request and receive quotes, track quote request progress and responses. View quote details and search quote including on reference, status, date. Place orders against quotes.
- Order Tracking – View all orders, order line item details, order progress and shipping information. Searchable criteria including order number, ship to address, and item.
- User Management – Easy to use user management interface to administer user accounts. Allocate user rights by function e.g. incidents, assets, orders, performance reporting. User management of contact and password details.

What’s next?
The next release is scheduled for completion by end of 2009 and will include the following features:
- End of Life and End of Support reporting for assets
- Secure file management for transferring configuration files.
- Quote builders based on searching and selecting against vendor part-codes data-bases to improve simplicity and accuracy.
- Significant upgrade to the change management module
