Job summary
Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of one or more small- scale projects, actively participating in all phases of the project. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
Takes active ownership on the mainly technical related tasks in coordination with the assigned Project Manager:
- Liaison with the DO engineer to establish the exact technical nature of the project.
- Arrange equipment order list (“EOL”) along with the DO engineer
- Complete the under Project Manager (“PM”) direction (or stand alone if no
PM). The must contain all mandatory items as explained in the training material
Manages all technical interfaces within the agreed stage gate model and acts as a technical consultant to all parties. This includes the customer upon request of the Project Manager
- Produce PDD
- Raise PDD QA requests
- Raise Commit to Deploy
- Raise Agree to Operate
- Cooperate on the PCP
Coordinates and oversees technical activities with Vendors, Customer, on site support, other bundle supplier, Telco providers, etc
Minimum requirements
Must have a minimum of five years of experience delivering Telecom Projects and Network/Voice implementation – Internet Protocol Telephony (“IPT”), Wide Area Network (“WAN”) & Local Area Network (“LAN”)
- Required are the detailed technical certifications on at least one of the 3 areas demonstrating his master skills
- Furthermore evidence on basic knowledge of the 2 remaining areas
- Either experience as Project Manager or certification
Must have extensive knowledge and practical experience of Cisco networking (although will not get involved directly with configuring these systems)
Must have extensive knowledge and practical experience of working with telecommunications carriers.
